This is a special "concert" for the students at JD. It won't be posted anywhere but here. Dave has been a good friend of mine for a little over a year now since the release of his most recent full length "Up Against the Sky".
He's a folk musician from Nova Scotia who has been singing and playing for many many years. We did this little segment intending it to be a send-off for our grade eight students. A final "Monday Music Guest" sort of thing but things went a little wonky with the sequencing of the video so we've decided to not put this on facebook or any social media. You can watch a true professional perform in a "the show must go on" environment. Dave was suffering a little from Hay Fever. I honestly, as a fellow professional in the business, could not tell. At any rate, enjoy this. It's not that often that a folk musician of Dave's calibre performs an entire set of songs just for you!
